What is love? Is it the happy ever after that you’re spoon-fed all your life? Is it saying ‘I love you’ from the start? Is it pretending you love the boyfriend you can’t stand? Is it searching for the soul mate or settling for the closest thing you can find? Is it that head over heels, clouded decision-making? Is it those choices you make because it ‘felt right at the time’? Is it looking back with regret, is it looking back with remorse? Is it supposed to hurt? Is it thinking he was the one, and then finding someone better? Or worse, is it knowing he was the one and watching him find someone better?

so there we were... all of my group of friends... just walking around an empty parking lot... talking... thinking... and being bored out of our minds.. but in being bored we somehow entertained each other.... things were a little awkward.... i liked one of the guys in the group... - mark..- and i didnt want him to know because i thought if he did then he wouldnt want to talk to me anymore... which would suck.... i was towards the back of the group... not talking to anyone at the moment... i stared in front of me... he was there... flirting with my best friend as usual... it was cute yet it made me a little sad... not a jealous sad i swear.
